Meet El Capitan – Your Adventure Buddy with a Heart of Gold! 

Full of energy and overflowing with love, El Capitan is always ready for his next adventure, or a cozy cuddle session!  This happy boy lives for belly rubs and will happily flop onto his back at a moment’s notice to soak up all the affection he can get.

El Capitan loves running around the backyard, chasing squirrels, and playing with toys.  He’s a social pup who enjoys the company of other dogs and has a blast playing and even running the fence line with his canine neighbors.  He’s also a great travel companion.  He rides well in the car and is always up for a walk, where he shows off his good leash manners.

This sweet boy is housetrained, crate trained, and friendly with everyone he meets. He’s not food-aggressive and has a healthy appetite.  Mealtime is definitely one of his favorite times of day!

Like many dogs, El Capitan can be a bit vocal when people or animals pass by “his” territory, and he may need a little guidance as he adjusts to a new home (he’s been known to mark in spots where another dog previously lived).  With consistency and routine, these minor quirks are very manageable.
