Meet Daisy Daisy is a tiny survivor with a heart of gold. Born from an accidental litter, she shows many signs of double dappling, including beautiful white markings, striking blue eyes, limited vision, and hearing impairment. But here’s the thing about Daisy...she doesn’t let any of that slow her down. To Daisy, life is simple and wonderful: eat, sleep, potty, play, repeat. She’s playful, affectionate, and incredibly smart. She absolutely adores toys and happily entertains herself (and you!) with puppy enthusiasm. While her vision is limited (she seems to see shapes and shadows) she navigates her world with confidence and curiosity. Because she’s never known anything different, she has adapted beautifully. Daisy would thrive in a home with a confident dog buddy to help her continue learning about the world. She doesn’t know what she doesn’t know, and a canine companion will help guide her and build her confidence. She will also need a patient, committed family willing to provide the extra care, structure, and safety that a special-needs puppy requires. Despite her challenges, Daisy is pure joy. She is loving, resilient, and an absolute pleasure to have around. With the right home, she will blossom into the most devoted little companion. If you’re ready to open your heart to a very special girl, Daisy is ready to fill it. ______________________________________ Health Risks Associated with Double Dapples Double dapple dachshunds are prone to several serious health problems due to their genetics:
