Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Lilac loves to take her toys into her bed and hoard them there. She's affectionate and gentle. She seems like she will grow up into a cuddle dog, but right now she's got a lot of puppy energy and wants to play and explore her environment. She allows her sister to boss her around most of the time, but will assert herself on occasion - especially if there is a toy involved.  She requires a lot of round the clock care at this point. She eats every six hours and needs to be let out of her crate to pee every three hours or so. She is not always on spot on the puppy pad, and she will require house training. Don't expect an unbroken night of sleep for at least a couple weeks until she gets bigger.  She is laid back and loves to sit in her bed and observe the world as much as she loves running around exploring it. She's very vocal at this point, but quiets down when she gets attention. She has had her sister to sleep with all her life so far, and I suspect she will be lonely on her own at first and might be more vocal than usual. Once she's settled in and is bonded with her new family, they will have a beautiful, loving friend forever.
