On December 7, 2023, we said goodbye to the best dog ever!  Our Sophie lived for 18.7 years.  We adopted an adorable 2+ year old from the Dachshund Rescue Of Houston on 5-6-07 and were able to love her for 16+ years. Oh, what joy she brought to our family.  She is now able to see after all the squirrels she wants to chase and hear all the other dogs barking as she runs across the Rainbow Bridge.  We are heartbroken and will miss her terribly.  We want to thank DROH for allowing us to adopt her all of those years ago.  She truly was the BEST!

Sully crossed the Rainbow Bridge this summer as we shed many tears with broken hearts.  He has been a wonderful companion and was loved dearly.

I want to thank you for helping me to find my best friend. Although it has been only a short time that he has been with us, JJ has been so much to me. He is my shadow and can always be found by my side. Keep doing your excellent work and again, thank you for helping me to find one of the loves of my life.
