Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hey friends! My name is Jack Jack, but I am still learning my name since I am still just a little boy. If I am not sleeping (which I do a lot of) I love playing with my Golden Retriever sister and all my stuffed animals. My favorite toy is bigger than me, but just wait, I still have lots of growing up to do! My best friend is a 5-month-old Basset Hound since we are both too young to enjoy the dog park with our bigger friends. My foster mom takes me outside to work on my potty training but I would rather escape through the fence so my new family will have to always keep an eye on me, I am a sneaky little one. Potty training is hard work, I will need lots of reminders to go outside or on my training pad. One of my favorite things to do is run errands with mom. I sit calmly in my puppy bag and enjoy meeting new friends everywhere we go! One time I even met a cat on a leash! We got along great and even played together while our moms chatted. When my foster mom goes to work she puts me in my kennel and I do not mind but when she is home I want to be right by her side, including when I sleep. Human beds are the perfect place to burrow. Have I mentioned I am smart? I have opened my kennel twice, so I will need a kennel without the sliding latch. I am looking for my forever home, my foster mom thinks I would do best with another fur friend for me to play with! I cannot wait to find a family to play and snuggle with. My snuggles are infectious!
