The Houston World Series of Dog Shows consists of a series of canine events that take place over the course of several days. Dogs are awarded prizes for excellence in individual events, which concludes with an appointment of the "Best of Show" and "Best of Breed" awards. This event is also an opportunity for shelters and canine organizations, like DRoH, to publicize information about their work and interact with avid dog lovers.

Paw Fest

Saturday September 17th in the Alamo Theater parking lot, this all dog-centric festival features multiple activities and engaging experiences for both humans and pups to enjoy. Dock Dogs, the premier event attraction, is also returning this year with more high flying canine action! Here's what else is happening:

Live music provided by Aspire Healthy Energy

All-day Dock Dogs jumps and contests

Dog-friendly drink and lounge area with Bar Louie & Tito's Vodka

Dog costume parade at 2:00pm

Sit Means Sit obedience demo at 3:00pm

Multiple local canine vendors on site

Adoption trucks and non-profits - Including Dachshund Rescue of Houston volunteers and foster pups
