Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Roxy (we call her that for short since we tend to have a hard time remembering how to say her name) is an absolute doll that wants nothing more than to be by her humans side. She isn't picky what human so long as they care and love her. She loves to cuddle on the couch with us, sleep in the bed with us and will follow us around the house. She has to know where every family member is at all times and once she knows, she will run to the nearest bed (we have beds in every room) and plop down. We have a basset and 2 yorkies and they all get along great! Our basset really wants to play with her but she pretty much ignores his requests and just stands or lays near one of us. Any time any of the dogs are sleeping in one of the beds, if it's one of her preferred beds she will run and plop down in the bed next to them. If she feels they are taking up too much space on the bed, she will lift her upper lip and growl and they either move or don't move. Either way, she will still get in the bed and lie down. Roxy does not seem to be very interested in toys and is not a super active girl. Really all she wants is to be next to her humans. She has not had any accidents in our house and will come paw at us when she needs to go outside. Someone is going to be very lucky to make this sweet little girl a part of their family.
