Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Puppy Boy!
Welcome to the wonderful world of Tucker. This little fella may only be 8 pounds but he's filled with more cuteness than most people can handle. He's all puppy so the playfulness and sweetness comes in abundance. He's very "human" oriented and really wants to be with a friend whenever he can, so be sure to look down before you walk because he may be right underneath you. He's still young and has his puppy teeth so it's important to give him plenty of appropriate items to chew, and so far there hasn't been any inappropriately chewed on items. Beware of those eyes, because he knows how to use them and you will be putty in his paws. Like most dachshunds, he doesn't like the cold grass but he will eventually walk on it as long as you go first. Potty training has been going quite well and he even uses pee pads when he can't get outside in time.
If you're ready for some puppy antics then ask for Tucker, but do it now because he'll get adopted quickly.
