Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Despite all he has been through, Alexander Ross is one spunky little monkey!  In the week since he has gone to his foster home, he has learned to adjust to his new settings very quickly.  He gets along well with his foster brothers and sister.  He is happy to sleep in his crate at night next to his brothers, but really enjoys the special times when he gets to sleep in his mama’s lap.  He has earned an above average mark on his potty training.  He is very quiet, except for meal time, when he lets his momma and daddy know that they are not getting the food ready fast enough!  He is working on being more patient at meal times and trusting that there will be enough food for all the doggies.  His coat is already starting to grow in nicely after just one week of some good food, brushing, and lots of TLC.  “Little Bit”, as his mama and daddy sometimes call him, will have round 2 of his dental surgery tomorrow and will start his heartworm treatment soon after that.  He is full of love and energy, and can’t wait to find his forever home!
