Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

She is pretty, oh so pretty.....and she knows it.  Valerie is a beautiful little girl, and by little we mean less than 9 pounds.  She is the most adorable, petite princess.  She doesn't walk, she prances and it's not uncommon to catch her staring at herself in the mirror.  She is very quick to be a member of the family and has stolen the hearts of her 4-legged foster sisters and brother, in addition to her 2-legged foster family.  She's a sweetie who gives gentle kisses and loves to snuggle.  At times she will climb up to you just to give you a little hug.  Just when you think she's nothing but a prissy girl, she snags all of the toys or instigates a game of rough and tumble with her fosters.  She is known to use her paws and being she is a long haired Doxie, they are soft and sweet.  She is cat friendly and very close to being house trained.  She is nothing but a treasure to have in the house.
