Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Louie's eyes won me over from the time we met at the dog show.  He is so beautiful and is a delight.  He takes correction well and wants to please.  He is working on possessiveness right now with toys and people, but is easily corrected.  He will need a family who is ready to work with him, and not going to let him rule the roost.  He has gone swimming in the pool, and doesn't seem to mind it too much.  Or he doesn't run away when we get him!  He jumps short baby gates to check out the upstairs, so get the standard size.  He is great on a leash and has been fabulous with potty training.  Only 1 accident in the house.  He is very athletic and would be great with a  family who will keep him busy.  A very loving dog who wants to please you so he can get positive attention.
