Heather is a sweet “old soul”. This is her second tour of duty in DROH’s care. She came to DROH pregnant with several adorable puppies. After being a mother, she was adopted but then the family had a change in situation and she has come back to us. She is so loving and ready to start another chapter in her life. Heather came back to DROH with a few extra pounds and has to be careful going up and down stairs, in fact a ramp is essential to her continued back care. She is patient and waits to be carried up or down if a ramp is not available. She enjoys short walks and is curious about the world around her. Her appetite is good and Heather gets along well with her active foster brother and sister. She has occasional bouts of toy playing and adores burrowing to take a nap. Don’t be mislead by her appearance, she looks older than she is. Her foster Dad thinks once she loses a few pounds and gets proper nutrition she will regain her youthful appearance. Would you like to adopt a sweet companion?
