Please note:  Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted before going public .  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Ginger & Sophie were dearly loved by their owner Jacki, who came down with terminal Cancer. She kept them until she died and her last wish was for them to come to DRoH to have a safe place to live out their lives. Do you have a warm spot for one of Jackie's dogs? Ginger and Sophie are sisters. Update from their foster mom: Sophie is the most sensitive of the bunch. If she's uncertain or scared she'll tremble until her person picks her up and gives her love, but before long she is right as rain again. She is the most inquisitive of the bunch, the first one you'll find exploring the house with the others close behind. These two will be your instant family - they adapt quickly to new situations and are loving, entertaining and a joy to be around.
