Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Knox is a very handsome, red sable, longhair, male Dachshund that is waiting for his loving home. He is not at all aggressive. He is a bit timid and will appreciate a bit of quiet time to settle in and get to know his new home. Knox likes to snuggle in next to you while you are watching TV or reading. He spends a quiet night in his crate all curled up with a soft fuzzy blanket. He is good traveling in the car. House training is a work in progress with great results so far. Knox is only 2 years old and will be a faithful, loyal companion for many years to come.
