Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Looking for a low-rider with a big personality? Bodi is a classic dachshund: bold, curious, and packed with charm. He loves burrowing under blankets, sunbathing in the yard, and giving sloppy kisses to his favorite humans. He also loves riding in the car, heading to his favorite pup cup place. He is good in the crate, however, loves sleeping with you in the bed. 

Bodi is fully house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is currently mastering his basic commands. He gets along well with calm dogs his size but would also be happy as your one-and-only. 

Like many dachshunds, Bodi has a strong personality and thrives with gentle leadership and routine. He’d love a home with someone who understands the breed's quirks—and appreciates their loyal, loving nature.
