Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Meet Harley - the perfect gentleman in a furry package!

Harley has been an absolute joy and the most well-mannered house guest we could ask for. It’s been such a pleasure fostering this sweet boy.  He truly is a hidden gem.

Harley’s gentle and easygoing nature makes him impossible not to love. He gets along wonderfully with our 2-year-old child, showing incredible patience and kindness. He’s also started playing with our resident dogs and fits right in with everyone he meets.

He enjoys hanging out on the back of the couch like a little lookout, always wanting to be wherever you are. At night, he sleeps soundly and quietly, and he greets mealtime with tail-wagging enthusiasm. Harley is fully house-trained, politely doing his business outside, and he absolutely loves soaking up the sunshine.

Lately, he’s been handing out kisses and happily accepting belly rubs—it’s clear he’s opening up and loving the affection. Harley is looking for someone who will cherish him and give him all the love and snuggles he deserves.
