Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Tucker is a 3 year old, 15 pound, shorthair, male, who has kept his foster parents busy with his ball fetching play. He has chosen several chew type toys as favorites, but in true Dachshund fashion - soft, stuffed, squeaky toys are shown no mercy. He is very intelligent and observant and will alert to strange sounds both inside and outside. Tucker continues to expand his antics as he focuses on getting the most challenge out of each new experience. This pup is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. Tucker is a very loyal, protective dog who keeps track of his humans and closely follows them everywhere. He is a really good dog, but needs a pet parent who is willing to be firm. Tucker is anxiously awaiting for his new best buddy to find him and take him home.
