Hi, I'm Jesse! My foster mom calls me Jesse the Mohawk Man because she loves my curly blonde mohawk and says I'm unique. I think I might dress up as a punk rocker for Halloween. I'm pretty sure I'm 100% wire hair dachshund. Don't let the name fool you, I'm actually pretty soft. I absolutely love getting head scratches and ALL the lovin's. I want to be wherever you are and I follow foster mom and dad around everywhere. I love giving kisses! I have several doggy foster siblings and I do really well with them. I even like cuddling with them. I like men and women equally as long as they pet me. The little two-legged human makes me a little bit nervous but I like her. I just get out of her way when she gets a little too wild. My foster parents say that I'm an easy foster dog and I'm very easy to love. I'm a good car rider because I chill out in the crate in the backseat. I'm a healthy eater but not pushy about it. At bedtime, I would much rather be cuddled up next to you. I'm sure I could get used to the crate (with lots of treats and positive reinforcement) if I have to. I'm a typical dachshund because I love to get under the covers and cuddle. I'm not very vocal, I usually only bark when somebody's at the front door and I like to socialize with the neighbor dogs through the fence. I do think that every time you open the front door that I get to go outside with you so it's a good idea to keep a leash clipped to the doorknob or nearby so that you can have a good hold on me when you open the door for the pizza guy.
