Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Peanut is a very handsome red short hair Dachshund that is full of feisty spunk! He is barely one year old and has the energy to run and play until he wears out his foster doggy brothers. He likes to gather up a stash of toys. Chasing a ball is a favorite activity - until he becomes distracted by a better amusement option. Peanut is intelligent, attentive, and eager to please. House training is being accomplished as Peanut is very quickly learning the “Outside” routine from the other pups. Here is your companion for a brisk early morning or evening walk! This is a young Dachshund who plays through his energy and is tired by the end of the day. He understands when his fosters announce that is time for bed and he spends a quiet night in his crate. Peanut is a very good dog who ready to delight his new family with his never ending antics!
