Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Doc is an adorable 7 year old, 13-1/2 pound, male, short hair Dachshund. He is a handsome chocolate dapple with brown eyes that will just melt your heart. Doc is a intelligent, even tempered dog who has gotten along very well with his two foster dog brothers. His fosters parents are pleased with his crate training, even though Doc would prefer to sleep in the big bed. Doc leash trained, good in the car, and housebroken. He is the first one out the door when the trip outside is announced and quickly potties as soon as he reaches a grassy area. He likes to keep track of his people and will closely follow wherever you go. He enjoys watching out a window to monitor the yard for strange noises or pesky squirrel intruders. This pup is a real sweetie!
