My name is CoCo but my foster mom calls me Pig because of my curly pigtail. I know I'm not a true dachshund, but my mama was a chiweenie. I look more like a chihuahua because I have very long toothpick legs and pointy ears. I am still a puppy, so I am still learning about this great big world. I'm not fully house trained but I am potty-pad trained. Sometimes it's just hard to wait for foster mom to open the door!
I have been raised by my two dachshund foster sisters. Playing is my favorite thing in the world! I like to wrestle, chase, fetch, tug, and did I mention wrestle? If no one is available to play with me, I am happy to play with a stuffed toy all by myself. I also love when foster mom gives me bully sticks to munch on, which will keep me occupied for hours. I do need to be fed separately from other pets because I think all food is my food, and if they snooze they lose!
I ride well in the car but sometimes I get a little carsick if it is a very long trip. I love to snuggle on the couch and I sleep in the big bed at night with foster mom and sisters. I learned to use stairs and a ramp to get on and off furniture. I get VERY excited to see my people and I will use my long, spring loaded legs to jump straight up into your arms! I am 10 pounds and I have a big, fun, loving, silly personality. I can't wait to find my forever family with you!
