Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

me, so she's a little shy, but she has a great spirit and is ready to be loved again. This dog is a World Class, Gold Medal, Olympic Snuggler, and is a likely favorite to win Sweetest Dog on the Planet! Lap time is encouraged. She is always up for a snuggle. Always. Mincy understands, if you need to be on a conference call or zoom meeting - she'll happily sit quietly at your feet. She really is an easy dog. She's very quiet, but she's enthusiastic to see you. Always. Gets along well with other dogs. Mincy came to us house broken, and crate trained. She was obviously used to being in a home and understanding that there are rules. She understands commands very well, and chooses to follow most of them. Mincy would like to sit your lap right now!! It took her a couple of days to figure out the dog door, but she got it. She likes to take naps with her foster brothers, and has gotten along with everyone she meets. She runs outside to see what the boys keep barking at, but she doesn't join in. She likes to explore the yard and lay in the sun, but would be suitable for an apartment. She puts herself in her kennel when we cook in the kitchen. She doesn't beg, but she WOULD like to share your sandwich. Treats are appreciated, but she'd rather have ear pets or belly rubs. Toys aren't really of interest, but she likes to play with her foster brothers - even if they are a bit grumpy. She's coming out of her shell more and more. She really is a happy dog that's easy to have and impossible to resist. Did I mention that she would like to snuggle? Because she just reminded me to tell you. Mincy is an absolute sweetheart looking for her last home. She's very agreeable and easy to care for. She won't be available for long.
