Sammy Topaz is a perky, sweet boy that wants nothing more than to be with people and other dogs. Don't be fooled by his age, when he wants to get somewhere he is quite frisky and fast!    Being the character that he is, he likes to vocalize with a low bark or howl.  It's not very loud, but it's enough to let you know he's not happy with his current situation.  In a very non-dachshund manner, he listens to his humans and wants to keep them happy.  Sammy needs an understanding human who wants a constant companion.  He has shown to be a great friend and comrade.
