Please note:  Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted before going public .  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Carter is a sweet boy and is very eager to please. ​ He gets along well with other dogs. He loves exploring the backyard. He is getting used to his crate but prefers cuddling up next to his foster mom on the couch. ​ Carter is a smart boy and a fast learner. ​ He is making great strides on house training and is learning to use the doggie door. Carter vocalizes with a cute trill rather than a bark when he is happy!  Sadly Carter came to DRoH in rough shape.  It is suspected he was hit by a car due to the multiple bone fractures.  Today, he well on the road to recovery.
