Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Update: Tootsie is the perfect companion for just about anyone! She is laid back and chill, but her face lights up when she sees you when you come home. She gets along with all dogs, adults, and kids. She has easily enjoyed hanging out in her crate or on her bed. She potty trains well and enjoys sunbathing in the yard. The only time she barks is when she is ready to come inside after a potty break or when her foster momma is taking way too long to prepare her meal (highly food motivated). If you need a snuggle buddy or an excellent pup to take evening walks with you, Tootsie is your girl!

Hi! My name is Tootsie, and I am a Senior girl with a young heart! I enjoy naps on my x-large dog bed or on the couch and love when it’s feeding time! After my potty break or a long nap, I get a burst of energy where I take a lap around the house for fun. I am very playful and do a cute “excited” dance when my foster mom calls me over for the best belly rubs and butt scratches. I have two foster sisters, and I let them do their own thing while I watch. My foster mom hasn’t heard my bark yet, which she says means that I am a “cool & collected gal”.
