Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Ms P is sweet and mellow. Cuddles and naps next to people and her dachshund brothers take up most of Ms P’s Day. She enjoys sniffing grass, flowers, and taking in some sun. While her canine brothers play fetch, chase squirrels & lizards, she sits next to whomever is watching them and nods her head at their sophomoric behavior. This senior lady enjoys slow, short walks ​ and will bark back if anyone barks at her to ‘get off their lawn’. Ms P is potty trained & sleeps in her kennel and snores away the whole night. We like to the say that the P in Ms P is for Perfect!​
