Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Charity is a super sweet pup who just wants love! A few of her favorite things are snuggling in laps, burrowing into blankets, and basking in the sun! She wants to hang out right with her people all the time, ideally directly in your lap, but she’ll settle for next to you while you quarantine from home. Charity gets along well with small dogs and would probably do fine with big dogs and kids, though she hasn't had the chance to meet any yet (although she does enjoy barking at other dogs on walks). Charity loves going on walks, and gets excited as soon as she sees you head for her harness and leash. She’s fully potty trained, but will use a puppy pad if necessary. She enjoys playing with her dachshund foster brother and is still figuring out if she likes toys. It seems like Charity would do best with another fur sibling, though might be fine on her own especially if her person is home all day. Apply today to be her furever family!
