Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted. We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hi my name is Clyde and I'm a sweet little gentlemen. I like to spend my time sleeping and lounging and love being on a warm blanket. My cat foster sisters follow me around all day long but it doesn't bother me even when they clean me. I have to go to the bathroom pretty consistently due to my age but have only had a few accidents so I think I would be a good fit for an older person (like me) or someone who works from home. I am working on basic commands but I'm having a difficult time due to being hard of hearing (maybe it's just because I'm a Dachshund). I rarely bark unless we are playing. I am leash trained and love going on walks. I try to steal my cat sisters food pretty regularly because I am trying to put on weight. I have some food possession issues that I am working on but it's hard for my foster parents to stay mad at me because I am so cute. I am trying to spend my final years lounging in a lap.
