Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Craig Cinema was found by a good Samaritan being nursed by his Mom under a building following Imelda. He came into DROH a bit underdeveloped and behind for his age (two weeks). He has flourished under the attentive care of his mother and the vets at Jersey Village. Being exposed to the elements at that tender age he has battled some challenges, but now he has caught up and is now the more aggressive of the two puppies. Craig spends his days looking for mischief like most puppies and is learning not to bite so hard when playing. He is beginning to eat more dog food and is becoming less dependent on his mother for nourishment. No one is sure what his physical makeup will be once he matures, but his mother was a full size wire-haired dachshund…Mom isn’t divulging the father’s background! Who doesn’t love a puppy? This is one wild boy…so be patient and prepared for a handful!
