Sloan Peterson in my opinion is the perfect dog.  Classic dachshund black and tan markings, the perfect weight, lady like, very sweet and sleek.  Well mannered with limited barking and housetrained from day one.  She is estimated to be about a year and a half old so she'll have many years to spend with a family.  She loves to sit in your lap and is delicate and soft in her manners.  She'll rest comfortably at your feet if your on the computer and nap in your lap lovingly to watch TV.  She'll sleep in a crate at your bedside without any fuss but does like to be around her people when in there.  When we brought her into our home we take great care in introductions to other pets and she passed with flying colors and within a days time she was able to run and play with our pack of 4 without any conflicts.  She shows some interest in toys but really likes her humans best.  This pup was alone on the streets so she is a bit food aggressive and eats very quickly.  I am hoping as she finds she is going to get regular meals and treats she'll slow down and relax with her food but for now palm up treats from adults and private dining areas are good rules of thumb with set meal times.  She is such a lovely, calm and sweet girl this will be a very simple thing to resolve and her only cautionary area.  Oh and I should throw in that she's very smart and quick to learn.  She comes when called, doesn't try to run away and is a relaxed car rider.  She truly is the perfect dog that would make the sweetest companion ever please adopt her before I fall totally and hopelessly in love...
