Please note:  Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted before going public .  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Hi World, My name is Buddy, aka Baby Boy, Baby Buddy, BB. Why so many nicknames? Cause I'm just a little guy and so darn cute that I get called all sorts of things. I am 5 months old and growing and learning so much about the world. I am a very happy boy because I get to live with other dogs who put up with my chewing and wrestling and roughhousing. I love toys especially my favorite pink pig squeak toy. I love being outside in the backyard and exploring the grass and trees and birds and squirrels. I learned how to use the doggy door all by myself (well maybe my older dog roomies gave me a few pointers) There's a lot I love about life, but one thing I'm not so keen on is pottying outside. I know my foster mom really wants me to work on this, but there's so many distractions that grab my attention that sometimes it's just easier to go potty where I want, when I want, and usually that's inside where it's boring. At least I try and go on the potty pads, but that doesn't always work out. I'm a work in progress, what can I say. I'm being put in a kennel sometimes, like when my foster mom runs errands or when she goes to sleep. This I'm not too sure about. There's one kennel I can get out of in just a couple seconds - that's my favorite kennel, but there's another one that I get stuck inside of. I'm being told to sleep in there at night, and while I don't love the idea, I am so tired after a long day of playing, that I think I can deal with sleeping in the kennel. My foster mom says it's for my own good. I love kids and am really gentle with them, so I'd love to be adopted by a family, if they'll have me. By the way I should probably mention that I'm a great snuggler. I love to curl up in my foster mom's arms and watch TV. I also curl up next to my doggie roomies and sleep with them. I'm really excited to find my new family and hope that one of you reading this will become my forever home.
