Chris has had his life turned upside down in the past month. He was left at a shelter by his family after 10 years of being their sweet puppy. He is extremely well behaved and house broken, so
his behavior was clearly not the issue. Despite all of these changes in his life, Chris has adapted quite nicely to our house! He is friendly with my two dachshunds and is maybe a little too obsessed with our cats. However, he is learning the backend is not fun to play with once the front end turns around! He is completely housebroken, which can be quite rare for a dachshund! He does really well in the car and just lays down on the seat and sleeps the whole trip. He is crate trained and stays in the kennel while we are at work and at night for bed; though he would happily sleep in bed with you if you let him! Chris likes to go on walks, but does not like being in the backyard if we aren't out there with him. He loves to be around people and only whines when I leave the room and don't let him follow me. He loves to cuddle and give kisses and will make someone a great companion!
