Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Rachael Ray is a tiny girl with a big heart. She loves every person she meets and just wants to show affection with sweet kisses and cuddle time. She is the perfect lap dog. When she is not snuggling her foster people, little RayRay enjoys walking around the block, exploring all the fascinating smells and she does great on her leash. She is housetrained and goes to the back door to let us know it's potty time. She is crate trained and treats it as her den, retreating there to get a little break during the day. Rachael loves her soft blanket and burrows under it when she wants to nap. She doesn't show a lot of interest in playing with other dogs or toys. She is super smart and learned the routine at her foster home quickly. She doesn't bark a lot, but does vocalize with a little whine when she's trying to get you to understand her; it's her way of talking and she stops once you realize what she wants. She would love to be an only dog and queen of the castle, but will likely get along fine with other pets. Rachael is an amazing dog and will be a loyal, loving companion to the lucky forever family who gets to adopt her.
