George Knightley (affectionately Georgie Porgie) is the most adorable little guy you'll ever meet. He's got a soft strawberry blonde wire-hair coat and a cute little nubby tail. He doesn't shed very much at all and looks adorably disheveled with his long face and head hair.  

 

Georgie is sweet, affectionate, playful, animated, expressive, and funny. He loves to play with toys, both by himself and in a game of fetch. He enjoys carrying toys everywhere he goes, and he is very polite when sharing with others. 

 

Georgie is also polite about his dog food, but needs a little help learning proper table manners with treats and people food (he thinks all food is for him).  Georgie has never displayed any kind of aggression in his foster home, either towards people or another dog, but he is skittish when meeting new people. He prefers to keep his distance until he can figure out what they are up to. 

 

Georgie is working on both his crate training and house training and getting better every day at both. He has never had an accident in his crate. He needs a little help with leash training; he's excited to put it on but then grabs the leash in his mouth and wants to play tug of war. Georgie is adorably chatty, vocalizing at his toys, or when he wants to play, or when he can't be in the same room with you. He likes to cuddle on the couch and sleep in bed with his person and has learned to use doggy stairs up and down both. 

 

He is just the cutest little guy who will bring lots of love and smiles to the right family. He can't wait to meet you!
