Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Charlie is a wonderful dachshund who’s favorite activities are wrestling with the cat or sitting on his foster mom’s lap.  He is a gentleman on the leash and likes to go for his daily walks.  He loves to be around people and gets along very well with his foster brother and sisters.  Charlie is a handsome boy with a few distinguished white hairs and very much a loving lap dog.  Charlie grew up with a cat and while he is ok being by himself, he would do well with another dog or cat in the house to keep him company.
