Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Adorable  Edith Gru is a petite 5 year old, smooth, red girl. Although timid at first, she quickly bonds with new people. She loves being in her person's lap and once she trusts you, she will happily sleep there. Edith is very intelligent. She came into her foster home with very little training, but is quickly learning house etiquette from her people and foster dog brother. She is eager to please and thrives on the positive reinforcement she gets.  She has potty-trained quickly and is currently working on learning to alert her foster people when she needs to go outside. With frequent backyard trips, she hasn't had any accidents since her first few days as a DROH pup! She happily sleeps in her crate at night. Edith gets excited about playtime and is very curious about toys. She loves to carry her soft pumpkin toy around the house, and loves to watch her foster dog brother fetch toys. It won't be long before she figures out how to join in the fun.. Edith doesn't have any food aggression issues, but is learning to slow down during meals. This gorgeous girl is looking for a forever family that will continue her training with patience and encouragement. She will do best in a home where she gets plenty of lap time and lots of praise. Edith is a wonderful little dog with a heart of gold. She is so loving and the lucky person who adopts her will truly be blessed.
