Please note:  Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted before going public .  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

• Gary is very friendly and calm!  
• He does not jump on you, usually waits for permission to jump in the recliner with you.  
• He loves to cuddle and have his belly rubbed. 
• He gets along great with other dogs and is very friendly towards them and wants to play.  
• He is potty trained and will go when taken outside, he likes to run around but doesn't go far.  
• He does jump at you when outside to let you know he wants to chase you.  
• He does tend to be stubborn when it's time to come in because sometimes he wants to stay outside and play, but with a stern voice he will come inside when called.  
• He does not like being in a crate but he has shown he does not need to be in the crate all day, he can be trusted and does well left out all day while I am at work; no scratching or chewing on anything.  
• His eating habits are a little weird, seems to want to eat when I am home.  
• He is a good guard dog, he will softly growl to warn you when he hears things or sees people walk by but will not run around barking.  
• If you ignore him he will will bark at you to let you know he is there and wants your attention to cuddle or I assume go outside.  
• He will lay on the sofa but will not damage it but he does lick himself alot so put a sheet on the sofa.  
• He is doing better with commands, knows the word potty and No. 
• He is not big on snacks, especially Greenies, takes his time to eat them when offered.  
• He likes to follow you inside and wants to lay by or with you.
