Sponsor A Dachshund

All dogs that come to Dachshund Rescue of Houston will be checked out by a veterinarian and have the following procedures (at the very least) to ensure they are in good health.

~ Spay or Neuter
~ Heartworm check: If found negative, put on preventative. If found positive, undergo treatment and go on preventative.
~ Update on vaccines: Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, Parainfluenza, Leptospirois,    Corona
~ Fecal Check
~ Parasite eradication
~ Dental cleaning and extractions if necessary or advised
~ Identification of any long-term or potential problematic conditions

Some dogs have special needs that require more funds and long term care to bring them back to health. Any and all donations to cover the cost of rescuing and healing these pups is greatly appreciated.
